I have been working in the Computer Service industry since I was a student here at Meeker High School. I learned from the best, and with that knowledge began a career in computers and networks.
I went through college at Collins College of Design and Technology in Tempe, Arizona. There my instructors were industry professionals, and all of my training was hands-on. I did well in school and received both my Associates and Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Network Technology.
Also, during my stay in Arizona, I worked for ICS Computers. ICS is a computer repair shop, but we also dabbled in other things. I got more hands-on training, including cell phone diagnostics and repair, PC-based surveillance systems, and Graphic & Web design. As the lead repair technician I also had the opportunity to teach others, and interact with customers on a daily basis.
While working at ICS I received an offer for a technical support job from Patchlink Corporation. After two months I was raised to a Level 2 Support Representative, and was nearly Level 3 when our family moved back home. I now work at Pioneers Medical Center. At Pioneers I have the opportunity to participate in dozens of roles:
